Privacy notice

This notice covers the website digitalrova.com. The data controller, meaning the company that decides how your personal data is used, is:

Other websites, including those of other Rova Services brands, are run separately and are not covered by this notice.

The only place this website collects personal data is the enquiry form on the contact page. It asks for:

• Your name and email address (required)
• Your message (required), which is whatever you choose to write
• A phone number or LINE ID, and your company name (both optional)
• Whether the enquiry is for your business or your home, a budget range and how far along you are (choices you pick from a list)
• Whether you tick the optional box to receive updates from us

When the form is sent, our system also adds the date and time and the IP address the request came from. Please don't put sensitive information in your message, such as health details, ID numbers or passwords. We don't need them to reply.

The form also contains a hidden field that visitors never see. It exists only to catch automated spam, and a submission that fills it in is discarded.

If you contact us by email or phone, we receive what you tell us, such as your contact details and what you are asking for.

The company that hosts this website may keep routine technical logs of requests (such as IP address, time, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site secure and running. We don't use these logs for advertising or to build profiles of visitors.

This website has no user accounts and takes no payments.

When you press Send, the form posts your details to a small script on our web hosting, which emails them to us at hello@digitalrova.com. A blind-copy backup goes to a second mailbox hosted by Google (Gmail). This website does not write your enquiry to a database, so it exists only as email in those two mailboxes.

The script connects to our mail server over an encrypted connection. If that connection fails, it falls back to the server's standard mail function, which sends the same message to the same two mailboxes.

We use the details you send for these purposes, on these legal bases under the PDPA:

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you want one, to arrange a scoping call and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: you started the contact, and we are taking steps at your request before any contract.
• To keep business records of enquiries and to protect the website against spam and misuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in running the business securely.
• To send you occasional updates from DigitalRova, only if you tick the optional box. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see “Your rights”). The box is never ticked for you, sending an enquiry does not depend on it, and ticking it covers DigitalRova updates only.

We do not sell your personal data.

Your data is seen by the people at our company who handle enquiries, and by the service providers that run our systems for us:

• Our hosting provider, which runs this website and our business email. It handles the data on our behalf, to provide those services.
• Google, which hosts the backup mailbox described above.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, for example to a court or an authority. Links to other websites lead to sites with their own practices.

Some of these providers may store or process data on servers outside Thailand. We use providers with recognised security practices, and we will only transfer data abroad in ways the PDPA allows.

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to answer your enquiry and for our business records. You can ask us to delete yours sooner (see below). We then delete it from both mailboxes, unless the law requires us to keep it.

This website does not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not use tools such as Google Analytics or advertising pixels. Fonts and images are served from our own site, so opening a page does not send your data to a font or advertising network.

Because of this, we show no cookie banner. If we add analytics in future, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), you can ask us to:

• give you access to your personal data and a copy of it
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete
• delete or destroy your data, or make it anonymous
• stop or restrict how we use it, or object to a particular use
• give you your data in a commonly used format, where the PDPA gives you that right
• and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing does not affect what we did with your data before then.

To use any of these rights, email hello@digitalrova.com or write to our registered office. Include your name and the email address you used, so we can find your enquiry. We may ask you to confirm who you are first. We aim to reply within 30 days.

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC). We would like the chance to put it right first, but you do not have to contact us before you complain.

We change the date at the top of this page whenever we update the notice. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
